They are the ideal weight to do most stitches and comfortably pull the thread through fibres and fabrics. 8wt thread is also a great choice for hand and machine couching, or even knitting and crochet. The included 12wt threads are smaller than the 8wt threads but are still ideal for detailed hand embroidery.
